I am currently going through an appeals/disciplinary process – should this still go ahead?
It’s important employers follow procedure without delay, where possible these processes should still go ahead i.e. by phone, virtually or remotely. Where it’s not possible to conduct this process by phone, virtually or remotely then the process can be postponed. You are still entitled to be furloughed. Once your furlough ends and you’re able to return to work, the disciplinary or appeal process should continue as soon as possible.
If you need further advice or support during this time, please call RNIB on 0303 123 9999 or visit the gov.uk coronavirus (Covid-19) web pages, along with additional information for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
