What support is available for working from home during coronavirus (Covid-19)?

If you have been asked to work from home because of coronavirus (Covid-19) and you do not have the equipment to help you do your job, then speak to your employer about how they can meet your needs. They may also be able to arrange for any specialist equipment that you used in the office to be delivered to your home, such as a large screen monitor, a desk and desk chair.

Access to Work can provide practical advice and support. You can contact them and explain that your working circumstances have changed and how this has affected your support needs. To check your eligibility and to apply online visit the Access to Work website or call their freephone number 0800 121 7479.

Please also see our Access to Work questions. For further advice, support with technology and adjustments at home, call the RNIB Helpline on 0303 123 99 99.

General information on the coronavirus can be found on the gov.uk coronavirus (Covid-19) web pages, along with additional information for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
