Are there any accessible Televisions?

Many mainstream televisions today have accessibility features and tools built into them which make the device more accessible than ever before.

Panasonic, Samsung and some other manufacturers include built in Voice Guidance. This feature announces on-screen information like channel names, numbers, television guides, menus, upcoming and recorded programs, and various settings. TVs from some manufacturers are preinstalled with the Android operating system which is equipped with various accessibility features including speech, audio description and subtitles. As well as accessing live broadcasts, the smart features of a television like catch up and streaming services can also be accessed.

The Apple and Fire TV also have accessibility tools built in which enable access to video on demand services and TV catch-up apps. These devices do not show standard broadcast TV.
