X-PIL is now being run by emc. emc ensures that patient information leaflets supplied with medicines are available in accessible formats such as braille, large print and audio.
Individuals wishing to listen to and/or request an available leaflet in an alternative format can contact the Medicines Information Line or visit the website:

- www.medicines.org.uk/emc/xpil
You will need:
- The name of the medicine
- The medicine's product code number (normally a 9 figure number prefaced with the letters PL or EU, which can be found on the medicine box)
