How do I claim Attendance Allowance (AA)?

Attendance Allowance has been replaced by Pension Age Disability Payment for people living in Scotland and must be claimed from Social Security Scotland. For further information, see our Benefits in Scotland page. If you live in England or Wales, you can request a claim form by contacting the Department of Work and Pensions on 0800 731 0122 or visit GOV.uk.

If you live in Northern Ireland, you can request a claim form by contacting the Disability and Carers Service on 0800 587 0912 or email [email protected] Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm or visit nidirect.gov.uk.
