What is the Disabled Identification (DID) card?

The Disabled ID Card (DID) - is a small credit card sized proof of disability which can be purchased from a company called DID for between £16.50 - £20 depending on application method (post or online) the card is then validated for two years (from the date of application). You can only apply for the card if you are in receipt of the following disability entitlements:

  • Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
  • Attendance Allowance (AA)
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • Blue Badge
  • ESA
  • Medical Evidence Letter
  • Armed Forces Independence Payment
  • Registered as a blind person or partially sighted.
