I have difficulty seeing my keyboard, can I adjust it?

People with low vision often find a standard keyboard difficult to see. One of the ways to adapt your keyboard is to purchase large print keyboard stickers, which come in a few different colours. They are available from a range of suppliers including RNIB, Keytools, Sight and Sound Technologies and VisionAid.

Stickers often fade or come off with extended use, so you may be better off buying a large print keyboard. The suppliers of large print stickers above also all offer large print keyboards, so its worth exploring both options.

Alternatively, you could learn how to touch type. Touch typing is a skill that once learned allows you to type without looking at the keys. There are a range of touch typing courses available online, one of the most popular courses for people with a visual impairment is the Azabat Touch Typing course.
