What does a Universal Credit payment include?
The amount of Universal Credit you receive depends on your circumstances. The DWP will pay you a standard allowance plus any additional elements that apply to you. These additional elements include:
- Child element
- Disabled child addition
- Childcare element
- Carer element
- Limited capability for work element
- Housing Benefit
- Transitional proection for those on SDP and EDP
