How do I adjust the display, such as the size of the text in the browser, in Windows?

Windows allows you to adjust the display size and colour of apps and text, including the information in your browser bookmarks etc by altering your settings. You can do this by selecting the Start button - Settings - type ease of access into the search field or by using the keyboard shortcut (windows Key and U).

There are a few options which you can explore and adjust to suit your own preferences. These are:

  • Make text bigger- the slider under this option allows you to adjust the text size on your screen.
  • Make everything bigger – this changes the size of everything on the screen
  • Make everything brighter – the slider under this option allows you to adjust the brightness of your display
  • Simplify and personalise windows – different options can be toggled on and off within this area.
