Should I declare my vision impairment to university teaching staff?
If you give permission for your support plans (which should have been developed with your University's Disability Support Office) to be passed onto your tutors, they should automatically be made aware of your situation.
You may also like to introduce yourself to your lecturers, check they’re aware of your support plans and open a conversation about your needs with them. This will make sure that you are able to get the very best from your course right from the start.
