How can I make my landline phone more accessible?
There are number of telephones available that have a range of built in features making them easy for blind and partially sighted people to use.
Features can include:
- high contrast, big buttons that are easier to feel and see
- large, easy to see displays that show the number that you're dialling
- pre programmable buttons that enable you to store your favourite numbers
- "talk back" the telephone verbally confirms back to you the buttons you are pressing.
