Do you have any advice on travelling by coach?

If you plan your journey in advance it’ll help to make your journey easier. There are some accessible coaches operated by the following companies: National Express (the largest UK operator), Arriva, MegaBus, Gold Line (Northern Ireland) and Citylink (Scotland).

If you need help boarding or leaving the coach, help with your luggage, or alerting to which stop you need to get off, it’s best to call the coach company beforehand. Usually, it is the driver who provides assistance and they may be able to give announcements on the journey to keep you informed.
