What help is available for using the Coronavirus home test kit and can I get the instructions in an alternative format?
You can order an accessible version of the Coronavirus home test kit instructions on RNIB's Covid-19 test kit instructions in alternative formats webpage. Please note that the instructions should only be ordered once a home testing kit has been requested. Please also see Am I eligible to have a free Covid test?
It is also possible to have a live video call with specially trained NHS Test and Trace person to help you register for and take a home coronavirus test. This option is available by downloading the free ‘Be My Eyes’ app, once you have downloaded the app go to the ‘specialised help’ section, find NHS Test and Trace (support still available under this section even though we are no longer required to Test and Trace), you can then connect with one of their advisers.
